We Call this dancing 2010
A trend-setting rose when it comes to style. It’s dry and refreshing with sweet strawberry undertones, but firm citrus and limy freshness as backbone. As with the Parlotones’ first 2 wines, Giant Mistake and Push me to the floor, this wine too has a unique and surprising edge: It’s a complex blend of several vineyards, from the warmer parts of the Western Cape right through to one of South Africa’s top white wine, cool climate wine producing areas – the Upper Hemel and Aarde Valley near Hermanus. These cooler climate grapes made a huge contribution to its freshness and vibrancy. I’ll be grabbing a bottle and do with this wine as Kahn suggest…
“Laying amongst strawberry fields with a pale pink sunset as your backdrop, you’ll not only sip on rose petals, raspberries, melted marshmallows and watermelon – you will also sip away life’s troubles and taste some of its finer moments, catching a glimpse of Nevernever land…”
